Sally Knoles of Pacific Grove, California, passed away peacefully the evening of June 10, 2017. Sally moved to Pacific Grove in June, 1959 when she married Gordon Knoles, who was the long time Personnel Manager of Holman's Department store. One of her great joys was maintaining the gardens in their home, and she took great pride in the house on Olmsted Avenue, as her role as homemaker and mother. In her early adult years she was a Cub Scout leader, and grammar school secretary. In her early 50's, she accepted Christ Jesus as her Lord and Savior, and began a long connection with Bible Study Fellowship (BSF), became a BSF leader, guiding and teaching others in the study of the Word of God. Her life changed in such a way that her husband wanted the personal relationship with Jesus that she had, and she touched and changed countless lives with her gentle and kind spirit. After Gordon passed away, she later became a resident at Canterbury Woods for many more years. Before she passed away, in her Love for the Lord, she wanted to get literature for children to learn about Jesus. She is with Jesus now in the place He has prepared. (John 14:1-4) She is survived by all her children: Larry, Theo, Leslie & Emily, along with numerous grandchildren, great grand children, and even a great-great grandchild. Her life here on Earth was truly a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her, and she will be missed for years to come. We love you, Mom, and will see you again.
